This club brings together scientists, from the Institut Jacques Monod and from neighboring research institutes, who want to develop their bioinformatics skills, especially regarding analysis of high-troughput sequencing data. The club was started by Virginie Orgogozo and is currently maintained by the other club members.
We generally meet every Friday from 10:00 – 11:30 am in the seminar room RB18B.
We have three types of alternative sessions that are announced via a post on this web-page, or through a mailing list. We provide a regular course on programming, seminars, and an open session to discuss subjects of special interest to the club members.
For the courses: Please bring your laptop. It can be Linux, Mac or Windows. Each course will have an instructor who will provide the required materials, software and other information.
For the open sessions: Please contact Michael Lang firstname.lastname@example.org., if you feel the need to discuss a special topic with the other members. We will organise a date and supplementary information in order to make it happen.
If you want to be in the mailing list: Please also contact Michael Lang email@example.com.
